New Year’s resolutions

Okay, Deanna. NOW I am ready to talk resolutions. I have three. I guess. Maybe it’s 12. Anyway.
1. I am not going to eat out all year. This is a big and daunting resolution, but I am designing a challenge to make it fun. That can be found here: A Year Without Eating Out.
2. To [...]

New Year’s resolutions

Yeah, I know its only Oct – I’m just preparing for things – this is in no way an official list, but here’s what I have so far:
1. Drink more. I’ve really been slacking off in regards to my alcohol consumption over the past several years.
2. Have more sex. Its fun. I should do it [...]

Next week’s plan…

While my “beastly rash of work” ended a couple of days before Deanna’s, I had two births in 12 hours and am in the midst of their subsequent postpartum visits this week. That being said, I am feeling motivated to do something school-wise this week.

A Cozy Recovery

Today Quinn was feeling marginally better (but is complaining that his legs hurt), and spent some time reading and [...]

Home-what?

We’re supposed to be doing what? Homeschooling? Not a chance. We have the plague. We may never be well again.
Well, I did sign up for the Cosmeo trial and Quinn and Liam watched Bodyworlds today. They count, right?

dink update

I suck

I want to be an unschooler.

I don’t really want to unschool the kids, but I want to unschool myself.
I’ve been sick all week, and doing more than the normal amount of reading (since I read nonfiction all day for work, have a lot of studying to do, and read to the kids a good chunk my own pleasure reading is [...]
